Following their stunning performance on The Late Late Show recently, Vladimir Jablokov and his Slovak Festival Orchestra will perform at the ‘Irish Fashion Innovation Awards’. All who attend will be entertained by one of the best musical acts in the country at the moment while enjoying their complimentary drinks and nibbling on the finest canapés from Revive Café. From Bratislava in Slovakia, where he has played the violin since he was five years of age, Vladimir Jablokov moved to Ireland where he has gone from busking on Grafton Street to performing with the Slovak Festival Orchestra in venues such as The Mansion House, Leinster House, Gaiety Theatre, RDS Concert Hall, The National Concert Hall, Marlay Park , and by the special request of President Mary McAleese, in Aras an Uachtarain. The show will feature the finalists in the ‘Student’, ‘Accessory’ , and ‘Jewellery’ designer of the year categories plus some of the most exciting up and coming names in Irish fashion Joanne Hynes, Helen James, Eilish Boyle, Yasmin Vellosa and Heather Finn as well as a very special showing of John Rocha’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection. A fundraising raffle will be held during the show in aid of The National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI).
