Flares are back in this season; make sure they’re wider than wide – it’s not an excuse to extract those boot-cuts from the back of your wardrobe! These distressed jeans from Asos are so 70s, so comfy and so s/s 2010. (€35)

Love flares. never felt the same about skinny jeans. Maybe its a leg thing. Mine are, sadly, bit on the short side and theres nowhere to hide in skinnys. Flares really good for showing off best bums and, with good pair of ultrs high wedges tucked up uderneath youve got the longest long legs!
Absolutely Orla; long flares are great for slimming you down, and adding height if they’re long enough to hide a pair of high heels. I got a great pair of Lee Flares in Oxford Street’s Topshop a couple of years ago which would be perfect for this summer. They were made of the softest, comfiest cotton, and gave a great shape; they were really cool I have to say – gave them to charity though in a mad haze of de-cluttering. At least it was for a good cause!!!
