Designers must submit a suite of three made up designs for consideration by a pre selection panel. Jewellery may be made using precious or semi precious metals and stones, glass, wood, leather, synthetics, fabric or felted materials.

Designers will be judged on innovation, design integrity, quality of materials and workmanship. Submissions in sketch and/or photographs must be forwarded to Patricia Mc Crossan, Golden Egg Productions, Ground Floor, Harris House, Tuam Road, Galway by Friday 22 January 2010.

Designers chosen to go forward as finalists will be announced on 1st February 2010. One overall winner will be selected by the judging panel. The winner will be chosen by secret ballot and be announced at the FASHION INNOVATION AWARDS Ceremony in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway on 18 March 2010.

Terms and conditions:

Submissions will not be returned to the owners until after the awards ceremony. The jewellery pieces submitted may be used for publicity purposes at the discretion of the organisers. All entrants agree to participate in any interviews or other PR opportunities as may arise from time to time in relation to the awards up to one month following the final.

The judges' decision in selecting the finalists and the overall winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered
regarding their decisions. Canvassing will result in disqualification.
